Money is a tree huggin' greenie

British insurers warn on storm costs:

The worldwide cost of cleaning up major storms could rise by two-thirds to $US27 billion ($35.4 billion) annually unless urgent action is taken to fight global warming, British insurers warned on Wednesday.

"Governments now have a chance to make rational choices for the future before it is too late," said Nick Starling, an executive with the Association of British Insurers which issued the warning.

Yay, insurance companies to the rescue!
