annanother thing...

Annan's parting swipe at Bush:

In his most explicit rebuke, Mr Annan said America had sacrificed its global leadership on human rights because of its methods in the war on terror.

"When it appears to abandon its own ideals and objectives, its friends abroad are naturally troubled and confused," Mr Annan said, according to a text of his remarks released by the UN.

It has been said many times by equally emminent and much less important people, but it's still bears repeating. An undeniable and verifiable pointy of reality, Ruth.

Any country who supported the US in their chosen method of executing the WoT may well have shifted up a place or two on people's list of "I don't give a f*ck what happened to 'em, they're not worth sh*t."

Way to go, Bush. Fool.
