Weird Social Science

Great post by TD over at RtS: Death of an IR salesman:

Peter Hartcher does a pretty good job today in outlining the way John Howard has gone about selling his new IR laws over the last twelve months or so.

Unfortunately, Hartcher writes it in a strange language that Surfdom’s resident team of linguists have identified as Fairfaxskrit, a member of the Indo-Murdochian group of languages, that makes the article rather impenetrable.

Because we here at Surfdom live to serve, we have, for your enlightenment, translated the article into Blogenglish, in which I know you are all fluent.

If only these IR laws were more like Peter Boyle's version of the monster.
