PM furious at Rudd's security jibe.

Rudd: "Mr Howard said that the purpose of the Iraq war was to reduce the terrorist threat. It has made Australia a greater terrorist target than what would have otherwise been the case."

The first time he was asked about this assessment, Mr Howard allowed it pass, attacking Mr Rudd on another front. Later at a news conference, however, Mr Howard let fly. "Really! I think he's getting a bit full of himself."
